Not bad, I do believe that would be called x axis motor mount though. The z does not have a carriage. This design looks great. It does take away my favorite x belt tightening method when there is no tensioner though. I like to remove all but 1 bolt from the motor, move the belt in the x carriage a few notches, and use the 1 bolt as a fulcrum and pull the motor to tighten the belt. Tough to explain here, will do a video on it later, but with a fully captured motor, this m re this would not work, so a tensioner is a must.

That’s a interesting approach, like a generator in an old car ?
