First bigger project on my DP5 and my new cad software: Surprised !!! First object printed on this printer that truly catches my eye, congratulations, if you can share the settings and mention what software you used, I'm still lost between adjustments. Your printer is in factory conditions (air ducts, etc) even though I am lost between adjustments.

Your printer is in factory conditions (air ducts, etc) even though I am lost between adjustments. I'm using simplify3d and for cad cubify design, wich is a really good and affordable cad software. The parts of the spool holder are printed at 0.3 layer height to reduce the printing time, for example the blue corner peaces took 3 hours each! Hardware wise i have added the corner brackets, the buildplate (or y carriage whatsoever the right term is), wich allows me to get really nice first layers now, and of course my big part cooling air duct. I haven't change anything on the firmware because i have absolutely no knowledge about that kind of software stuff. One important thing at the beginning is that you don't try to much on upgrades and adjustments. Just try to get the basics right, bed level, temperatures, get familiar with your slicer and the print as much as posible to have fun...
