The plastic hinge pin in my Black & Decker Belgian Waffle Maker broke and I had fixed it with a nut and bolt and a bit of hose but I needed to take them out to clean the hinge from oil and pancake batter. The rubber had become swollen and needed to be cut and pulled out with pliers and a replacement fashioned. Since I'm fixing everything with the 3D printer why not see how long it takes to design and print a new piece. Here's a link to my Tinkercad page in case you have the same waffle iron, the files are there. New design was pretty easy to make in Tinkercad. ![On Printer](http://thingiverse-production-new.s3.amazonaws.com/renders/4a/eb/c2/9f/4e/85dec78a27a2586291fb899d04b9586d_preview_featured.jpg) Prints nicely. ![Finished](http://thingiverse-production-new.s3.amazonaws.com/renders/52/0e/75/2a/43/844e6c40e2a3b19b0c6bd3ff28a32eb4_preview_featured.jpg) And here's the finished product. -Made two different length pins to get the best fit as there is some variation of the surface on the molded parts.

Just a pin? I think you underestimate the seriousness of the situation. No waffles? Why wake up in the morning?

I know really. I meant in reference to Ralf's "Mini-Me", that was awesome. Still can't get over how cool a 3D scanner is.
