Matter Control and the Z sensor

I've been using Matter Control for about a week now and I noticed it needed the Z sensor to be readjusted from where Cura needed it to be. Anyone know why this is? It seems the Z sensor is super sensitive now and I've had to cancel a number of prints to mess with it. What makes things worse is the sensor is super hard to adjust, I noticed the new model dumps this and moves to one that has large adjuster nuts. Does anyone know if swapping the sensor is just mechanical?
