you can fix it on the portal, only to make the bottom metal that the sensor would work, and can be replaced by another on aliexpress many varieties and different working height ,and different structures

If you look on your SD card you'll find a file called, Zxianwei.gcode. This file allows you to replace the proximity sensor with a limit switch.

i want ask for mount it if i must change code or only connect the 3 cables (+ - and signal). thanks |

yesterday i have found a solution for the original green sensor SN04.
I have put a small piece of aluminum paper in the home position.
The sensor read di Z position and now i can use it normally.
One question:
it's posible change home position (0,0,0) and put it in one corner of plate ?
i have firmware 1.1.4 and home position is in the center of plate.

I did a similar thing for a while when I thought my sensor was going bad, I but box cutter blades on the bed under the sensor and adjusted the sensor a bit higher and it worked but eventually I just tried to readjust the sensor on the bed and that worked too so everything was okay. It takes a lot of finicky work to keep any 3d printer running.

i think that for modify home position it's necessary modify firmware...right ?
i want change the place of home. Not in the center but on one corner of plate.
