I've been following mining as I'm looking for a new video card for my hackintosh and it seems that the miners have not only pushed up the price of the cards but it looks like Nvidia is not only holding back inventory but are holding back the release of the next generation cards to sell of the current cards at the high prices. I'm expecting to see a big drop near the end of Aug. Does this effect you?

Interesting information, thanks. I am curios to see how much will drop the prices. The video cards prices does not affect me because I do not plan to buy a new card. I have 4 GPU (1 x ASUS GTX1070, 3 x ZOTAC GTX1060)and the rig makes stable 86 Mhash. I am pretty happy with this hashrate. I am affected by the big drop of ethereum price...I started the rig in January 2018, the price was about 1500 usd/ETH, and now is 422 usd/ETH...I make minimum profit, but still mining and hoping that ETH price will go up.

I don't think it can go up, there's too many people doing it and some of them are huge facilities plus there is now dedicated miming hardware that is cheaper and more efficient than video cards. Might be time to sell your cards, my local Craigslist is full of used mining rigs. Bet it was fun while it lasted and you understand something now that goes right over most peoples heads.
