all of sudden i noticed the printer on the Z does stop when going to auto home, noticed that the green sensor stopped lighting up, how can i trouble shoot? i have until first week of august to return the printer

Simple, raise the Head of the printer and wave metal underneath the sensor if the sensor lights up red it is good and the sensor needs calibration is a fancy way of saying the sensor came loose and is out of wack. Lower the head till a Piece of paper drags between the nozzle in the bed then lower the sensor until the light turns on then tighten down the sensor screws additional cattle Gratian might be necessary but try to print burst and adjust as the offset from there in the firmware.
