Hello everybody I'm a newbie to this forum with a few nagging questions I wonder if I can get some answers to. Firstly I bought this DP5 for my grandson last year, and soon noticed after it did it's auto level routine on the four corners and then traveled towards the center of the bed, it would start printing not in the very center but about 25mm before and about 15mm to the left side of the bed. Is there anyway to correct this? I was wondering maybe in the firmware the numbers to center after the auto level, are wrong or maybe something else.
Secondly, it seems like these tiny end stops have a mind of their own. Sometimes they stop both carriages dead and sometimes they don't stop either one or the other for a second or so causing the motor to keep running for a second making a terrible row. I wonder if it's worth printing something to hold better quality endstop's like those I see with the wheels on them instead of just a piece of spring steel, or is a problem with the firmware causing it I wonder.
Well I think I said enough for now, I hope any of you good people can give me some answers to these and a few other questions I have
Lester

Hi, welcome to the forum. Over a year? That's not a newbie! I think your slicer controls where the print will start. Does it matter where it starts? The end stops are cheap and break easily, your parts bag might have a spare but you can get them on ebay if you need more, I bought a bag of ten for a couple of bucks. Could also be the plugs on the board coming loose. I've had my machine for over a year and every time I notice a screw coming loose I go over the entire machine and every time I find screws loose. The terminals on the main board need to be checked too. -Brian
