www.thingiverse.com/thing:2170716This is the first non test/calibration part printed on my first and new 3D printer. I bought this 3D printer to make parts for my CNC machine since I don't have access to a machine shop anymore After quickly running the calibration and test parts I needed to find my first print. Last night while watching "CHEP 3D Printing" on Youtube make a handle for his toolbox that inspired me to make a new handle for my old camera case that I now use to store studio cables in. Initially I was going to make a one piece handle like CHEP but while measuring the pieces I figured I only need to make the hinge bracket and not the handle itself. Well it worked! I have my handle and my first successful printed project. Much thanks to CHEP for suggesting "Tinkercad.com" as a useful 3D creation tool for simple objects like this.
