currently working on Marlin Firmware 1.1.8, I was interested to know what languages you would like to see, obviously English, but it would be a lot easier methinks if I uploaded other langauges to my cloud drive for you guys to download, and then run your update so you will have native language on LCD. So let me know what you want and I will make it happen for you. I'm thinking that English, Spanish, German, Korean and Chinese would be a good start.
The one I got from github is listed as stable. I'm going to beta test first before I release it, just thought I'd put this out there to see what languages are wanted. Plus looking at the forum, the errors don't seem to affect our printer.
Uploaded to machine today to beta test, hmm seems to be a problem with the stepper motor logic, so back to the drawing board at this stage.
I can still do the same thing for 1.1.4 version, that set different languages so it is an easy option for users.
You can download it from Marlin.Github, but it is not set up for the DP5, I started to configure for our printer, I ran into issues with stepper motor logic. Since then life has been a bit of a rollercoaster, as it can be at times, and I haven't had time to look at firmware or even do any printing in over a month. The url would be: marlinfw.org/meta/download/
I've made a 1.1.8 build for my DMS DP5 but I've added a lot of extras, which would not work on a standard DMS DP5 like: - Switching ON/Off LCD backlight - Turn ON/Off the PSU - Turn ON/off motherboard fan - Turn ON/off hotend fan
The firmware is stable.
@op post the source and the users can select the language they need by themselves
