That's a great upgrade, I'll have to check out the file later. That stamped sheet metal bends and causes belt tracking issues.

Thank you! I will put it on thingiverse tomorrow.....i‘m a little concerned about the thermal influence of the motor to the pla, ( i‘m not printing abs in my home because the fumes) so i‘ll test it for a while.....

Abs is obsolete. Petg is great. Nylon is good too but I printed taulman bridge once for an x axis mount and it was too flexible. Live and learn.

Thank you, I think it doesn’t really improve the print, for some reason that bendy sheetmetal bracket ist stable enough. It‘s more a better alignment for the stepper motor, but it is in my opinion not on the top list of upgrades. Right now i‘m just designing stuff to get familiar with my new cheap cad software to prepare for my big project which is a automated record (vinyl) cleaning machine...
