Hi. First time.. Great forum !! Thanks !! I`m spanish and mi english is too poor. sorry. My problem with dp5 is the BED and Axis Y. First do Auto Home and do OK But I have to push the bed until it is just on the edge of the Z-axis level. So if I do auto home I have no problem. But if the bed is halfway down the car, I'll do it in half. And my biggest problem (as you see in the video) is when I print and do the 4 points, because the last 2 the bed is passed and I have to push it so that the level of the Z axis gets to touch the metal, but not to And the pressure bars are released. I tried to change something in "Control" of the dp5 but it does not do anything to me, it always always does it to me. Even with the Gcode that came from testing on the Card. In the Cure I have all the data as it says in the photo that came on the card. I do not know how to fix it. Someone knows? www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkcZjYsgxh4THANK YOU VERY MUCH !!

Welcome to the forum diejonj,
Did you read through the Help question "Home Position Problem"? It seems to be a similar problem to what you're having.
When I'm having a home position problem I hit <Control> "Restore Failsafe" before <Prepare> "Auto home" just to make sure everything is reset.

Hello diegonj, please check this first: Then check if your x carrige is parallel to the upper frame ( your z-axis sounds terrible): And please don't push anything while the printer is working!

Ralf : Check 165mm .. it's OK. Check with leve the parallel... it's OK. Do hit <Control> "Restore Failsafe" before <Prepare> "Auto home" And doing same, i need push bed in 3º and 4º point before print. I do not know what to do anymore Thanks !!

Ok, I think I understand what you are saying and can help. 1) sometimes the y axis does not home properly: The y axis end stop has a history of problems on this printer. First, make sure it is connected tight in the board and that the screws on y carriage are tight. If there's still a problem, replace the endstop with the one included in the kit. Make sure the wire does not run parallel to a motor wire, it will cause problems. 2) With the printer properly homed, loosen the z motor and tower bolts and slide the tower forward until the sensor is right at the edge of the print bed. Tighten the side closest to the sensor, then measure it's location. Then transfer that measurement to the other side and tighten it down. Your printer is showing home is at y-25, which is not normal. Y should home at 0. It also reads the back of the bed as 108, which is really weird. I suspect you changed the steps per mm setting by accident. I recommend restore failsafe, or grab the configuration.h file from this forum and upload it, yours might be corrupt.

Thanks for answering the 2 !!. This morning I put the 175 mm but nothing. And what 3dprintingmeathead says is what I was going to write now. When I do the Auto Home stays at y -25 and even if I do an axis reset and I put everything 0 - 0 - 0 when I start printing it is automatically changed to y -25.
Where can I find the configuration file you are talking about? I searched the forum and found nothing. Thank you very much for the help !!
Edit : I found it !! But, all files in SD Card and cant execute in printer. Need any program? ty !!

Mine also shows y-25 x9 on home position. Today i had a strange print fails. Half of my piece was not prited. it was spur gear, and it only prited half of it. I moved the piece towards the centre of the table on Y axis in Simplify3d, and it was ok. But like this i cant use the first 60mm of the table i Y axis. I tried restore failsafe but it didnt help.

Hi Kristiank!, Do you solve your problem with X9 Y-25? My printer arrived in June 15, 2017, i think it's a batch that came with bad adjust firmware, Some other user from there that arrived in May-June that could confirm this?

Ist here some guide? do you try to reset to factory settings in the menu ? connect to pronterface and test the end stop switches ( specially the Y endstop ) , in the post "noob 3d printing" i put photos of my setup to check distances from the tower, Someone in this forum managed to update a marlin 1.1.0, I asked for a simple guide of its parameters for the configuration but not yet answered My printer continues to show X9 Y-25, but adjust my towers accordingly and at least I can use 99% of the bed space, although it is a bit buckled from so much hit with the hotend when I started to practice with zero experience

And where can i find the latest firmware? DMS doesent actulally have a website... I think you need to download direct from Marlin github, and adjust the configuration in the firmware before you upload to your printer, In this forum meathead upload the original DMS firmware, you can check the configuration there dp5.boards.net/thread/28/dp5-marlin-firmware-file
