I don't know how much of an upgrade this is but after my experience of changing the Y axis end stop switch I knew I had to do something about the wiring. The factory wiring harnesses are covered by black spiral wrap which would be fine but the factory tied mine way too tight which was causing the bundles to bind and take on strange shapes of their own, the wire is then tied with black plastic wire ties, lots and lots of them. If this box sits on your desk all the time there is little reason to replace all the ties, you don't want the wires to get caught in anything that moves but you want the wires to have enough movement so when they do flex they do so over as long a length as possible to avoid causing fatigue of the jacket or wires. My solution was first to remove any excess spiral wrap, I like to leave a gap of about two to three millimeters. Then to secure the main harness underneath with new wire ties where necessary, you don't want loose wires near the Y axis mechanism and you don't want to leave a rat's nest but don't over do it. To secure the wires to the frame I found these 2020 cable clamps on Thingiverse which work amazingly well. They print out in seconds, I made a bed full of them in four each of all three sizes.

After being so happy with these parts I decided to modify the clamp to hold the cables going to the X axis. I took the wrap off cables going there when I suspected the tight wrap was causing interference with the limit switch. Since the run is quite short I'm leaving the wrap off and decided to build new clamps that hold the two cables a short distance apart. These clips (available here on Thingiverse) are working really well for me and I think look better than the spiral wrap. Here's a photo showing the evolution from the round clamp I downloaded to the double pocket square clamp I made up in Fusion360. The top being the stock clamp and the bottom right is the final model. And here is the X axis with the modified clips.
